WonderFest 2001

My all-time favorite horror movie is the 1982 masterpiece, Creepshow. This film was a collaboration of horror legends George A. Romero, Stephen King, and Tom Savini.

In 2001, Wonderfest (held in Louisville, Kentucky) had a screening of Creepshow with appearances by George Romero and Tom Savini. Before the film was shown, the two masters of horror discussed the making of the film, and told a few amusing anecdotes.

It was a great pleasure and privilege to meet George Romero. He is one of the greatest horror film makers of all time, and his impact on the horror movie genre continues to this day.

Below are some pictures I took of the event. Even with a wide-angle shot of the Creepshow screening room, I could only manage to catch about half of the people in attendance. It was a fully-packed house.
