Savini-thon 2002

Savini-thon 2002 marked the second year of the event. Once again, three films of Tom Savini were shown, with an introduction and Q & A session beforehand. Savini also brought the whip he used as “Sex-Machine” in the film From Dusk ‘til Dawn, and gave the audience an impressive demonstration.
I also had the opportunity to meet several other horror movie icons at the convention including Linda Blair (The Exorcist), Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), Linnea Quigley (Return of the Living Dead), Brinke Stevens (The Slumber Party Massacre), and the ladies of The Evil Dead, Ellen Sandweiss, Betsy Baker, and Theresa Tilly.
