The Horror Reporter's Day Off

Dead Silence The Hills Have Eyes 2Yesterday I decided to take the day off work and catch up on some of the new releases. I went and saw James (Saw) Wan's new ghost story, Dead Silence, and the sequel/remake The Hills Have Eyes 2. Both films were pretty damn good in my humble opinion, and I can't think of a better way to spend a day off.

Anyhoo, at the start of these fine fright-films, I saw a
few movie trailers for some upcoming horror flicks.
Check 'em out:

Bug

Bug

This is a film by William Friedkin (The Exorcist) about microscopic bugs that feed off human brains. It stars Harry Connick Jr. and Ashley Judd.

Vacancy

This film, starring Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale, is about a couple that check into a remote, seedy, hotel. They find a home video of a person getting killed and come to realize that it was filmed in the very hotel room where they are staying.

Disturbia

A teen under house arrest spies on his next door neighbor and starts to believe that he is responsible for a series of murders.
