Stan Winston
April 7, 1946 - June 15, 2008
It brings me great sadness to report the death of one of the greatest monster-makers of all time. Stan Winston, the creature-creator behind The Terminator, Aliens, and Predator, died yesterday from multiple myeloma. He was 62.
Winston had an exceptional career that earned him four Oscars for visual effects. He will be missed.
