I hope everyone had a "Scary" X-mas and a Happy "Boo" Year! (Cheesy I know, but I couldn't resist!) 2007 brought us a number a great horror flicks like Grindhouse, Rob Zombie's Halloween, 30 Days of Night, and I Am Legend. Honorable mentions go to Dead Silence, Bug, and Disturbia.
The best sequels go to The Hills Have Eyes 2, 28 Weeks Later, and Resident Evil: Extinction. (Yes, I excluded Saw IV on purpose.)
2007 was a good year for horror indeed. Hopefully 2008 will be even better! Here are just a few fright films on the horizon:
The American remake of Takashi Miike's supernatural thriller about people hearing their own deaths on their cell phone voice mail
Modern-day monster movie by producer J.J. Abrams
The American remake of the Pang brother's international hit about a woman who starts to see ghosts after having her eyesight restored.
