| February 8, 2007 This just in... The Celebrity Guest List Just Keeps Getting Bigger!
With the 2007 Mid-West Weekend of Horrors just two short weeks away, Fangoria has announced a huge celebrity addition to the already impressive guest line up. Scream trilogy alumnus, David Arquette, known for his quirky role as Deputy Dwight 'Dewey' Riley, will be appearing at the Chicago convention to promote his upcoming slasher/comedy, The Tripper.
Directed and co-written by Arquette, The Tripper is about a Ronald Reagan obsessed serial killer who targets a bunch of hippies heading to a weekend-long concert.
The film is scheduled to be released April 20, and will include an array of recognizable actors such as Paul "Pee Wee Herman" Reubens, Jason Mewes ("Jay" from Clerks), Jaime King (Sin City), Balthazar Getty (Feast), and wife/Scream co-star, Courteney Cox-Arquette.
