The full-length movie trailer for the dark epic fantasy, Beowulf, has recently hit the web. The story of Beowulf comes from an old English poem from around 1100 AD. The story is about a warrior named "Beowulf" who battles a monster named "Grendel". The upcoming film is directed by Robert Zemeckis, and stars Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, Robin Wright Penn, John Malkovich, Crispin Glover as "Grendel" and Ray Winstone as "Beowulf".

While this film is not considered to be a "remake", there have been at least three other adaptations of Beowulf to the silver screen.
